The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was a World War II American fighter aircraft. Developed to United States Army Air Corps requirement, the P-38 had distinctive twin booms and a single, central nacelle containing the cockpit and armament. "Putt Putt Maru" was flown by United Statesƭƭƭƭ 5th leading ace of WWII, Colonel Chuck MacDonald, CO, 475th FG.
Highly detailed with many working features and precise attention to detail. All aircraft feature working landing gear, removable armaments/ordinance, spinning propeller(s) or rotors, detailed cockpit with opening canopy, and much more. 1:18 scale aircraft are compatible with 3 3/4" action figures. Strongly recommended for adult collectors only.
